Growing a vibrant, cohesive and profitable

Australian wildflower industry

WildFlowers Australia

WFA is the national industry association supporting the commercial wildflower industry, which markets a wide range of Australian and South African cut flower and foliage products here and worldwide.

Industry members include growers, flower wholesalers, exporters and importers, flower and foliage buyers, plant growers and researchers.

We are a membership-based body, with experienced volunteers and experts working to benefit our members. We link industry members through communications and networking; we also inform the public to promote the use and purchase of wildflowers across Australia.

We actively promote the increased use of wildflowers by florists, using our prestigious annual National Student Floristry Competition and our ‘Walking on the Wildside’ event.

The Association traces its origins back to the early 1980s when a group of wildflower growers and exporters foresaw the need for a national body to support our developing industry.

Today, WildFlowers Australia Ltd is led by an active Board, with membership drawn from several states.
