Join us for a day at The Wildflower Bunch, Kevin and Milusa Giles' wildflower farm in Sarsfield, East Gippsland, Victoria.
Growing a range of Australian native and South African wildflowers, The Wildflower Bunch is a tribute to resilience and the power of wildflowers. Over 15 years the Giles established a farm that had 7.5 acres under cultivation and sold 1,200 posies per week.
All this changed in December 2019 when wildfires destroyed everything. The Giles made the difficult decision to re-build and re-plant. Four years on and they have a producing farm that again grows proteas, leucadendrons, banksias, flowering gum and various foliage crops. Come and join us for a tour of the farm and learn how they rebuilt and adapted to the post-fire situation.
