More on our speakers…..

Craig Scott

Craig Scott is a fourth-generation farmer and wholesaler of wildflowers operating under the well-known name of East Coast Wildflowers.  Craig began his career with flowers working with his father who introduced cut natives to the flower markets in the late 70’s/early 80’s.  When Craig and his family moved to the family’s 20 acre NSW Central Coast farm, Craig expanded the Australian wildflower offering.  Today, Craig grows more than 200 species of plants with 98% of them being Australian natives.  Craig also runs a stand at the Sydney Markets where he wholesales product from his farm and from suppliers across Australia.

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith is a leading horticulture instructor and consultant and a passionate wildflower grower.  Jeremy has been involved in the horticulture industry for over 40 years, starting in the nursery business where he worked across retail, wholesale and propagation operations.   He began his teaching career in the early 2000s at TAFE NSW.  He’s known for his innovative teaching approach that includes plenty of hands-on experimentation and problem solving.  He applies all that he knows at his own farm, The Wildflower Farm Somersby, which has now been producing and exporting flowers for over 30 years.
